We are a Tier 2 ISP providing Network Services to our customers. We have a highly diversified network working with multiple ISPs environment regionally expanding globally.   

As Support Supervisor you will lead and develop our NOC support team. This team operates in our 24/7 NOC monitoring our Global Network and CDN infrastructure. In addition to monitoring, this group provides user support for both Network and CDN Clients. 

Responsibilities 

  • Monitor and ensure SLA compliance and quality assurance 
  • Mentor and develop NOC Technicians 
  • Act as point of escalation for NOC Engineers 
  • Ensure that incidents and faults are reported handed in a timely and professional manner.  
  • Develop service procedures, policies and standards as needed 
  • Coordinate training schedules and continuous improvement program 
  • Customer and Internal Reporting 

 

Requirements 

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Studies, Information 
  • Candidate with at least 3 years relevant working experience and at least 1-year relevant experience in a Team Leader capacity 
  • Experience with management related to technical customer service groups 
  • Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, Core Internet Protocols (such as MPLS, DNS, BGP) 
  • Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques 
  • Task prioritization and execution 
  • Advanced troubleshooting methodology 
  • Proven ability to train others on complex tasks 
  • Understanding of HTTP delivery 
  • Understanding of basic Network technology (routers, switches, routing protocols) 
  • Understanding of CDNs and their function 
  • Ability to perform shift coverage if required

NOC / Customer Support Engineer

We are a Tier 2 ISP providing Network Services to our customers. We have a highly diversified network working with multiple ISPs environment regionally expanding globally.

As a NOC engineer, you will be part of a team operating in our 24/7 NOC monitoring our Global Network and CDN infrastructure. In addition to monitoring, this team provides user support for both Network and CDN Clients.

Responsibilities:

Provide adequate and proactive monitoring to our network and services

Provide effective and timely problem management including problem identification, tracking, isolation, troubleshooting, notification, escalation and resolution

Coordinate network changes, maintenance and enhancements to maintain the highest standard of availability and reliability possible to the network.

Assist management with the provision of relevant information needed for outage and major incident investigation.

Providing L1 Customer Support.

Server Provisioning.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Studies, Information

Candidate with 1-2 years relevant working experience preferred

Candidate with Network Operations Center (NOC) experience, and networking related certifications preferred

Proficient in various routing protocols and networking technology

Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, Core Internet Protocols (such as MPLS, DNS, BGP)

Good understanding of network monitoring tools and methodology

Networking related certification preferred (such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA)

Python and/or other scripting languages are added advantages

A good team player with initiative and average in Mandarin languages.

Good communication skills, able to work independently while thriving in a team

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Must be able to perform rotating shifts
